Mildred E. Berg Henry Prion, 91, of Mansfield, died Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Mifflin Care Center. Born November 10, 1916 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of George and Madonna Keil Berg. She was a 1934 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. She retired from the Richland County Sheriff's Department where she was a clerk and had also worked for the Mansfield Police Department. Mildred was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Baku Grotto Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by a son, Don Barbara Henry of Kernersville, NC; daughter, Carol Tom Leather of Mansfield; stepdaughter, Barbara Weidemier of Sun City West, AZ; five grandchildren, Donald E. Sissy Henry, Jr., Deann S. Clayton, all of Aiden, SC, Cindy Brian Murphy, Pam Adam Shambre, all of Mansfield, and Kristin Tim Sprague of Muscatine, IA; two step grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Marjorie Salsgiver of Mansfield; two brothers-in-law, Robert J. Marian Henry and Wayne A. Carol Henry; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Tom Anderson of Mansfield. Preceding her in death were her parents; first husband, Roy Henry; and second husband, John Prion. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, February 10 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be Monday, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev.
