Thelma B. Jarrett

Thelma B Jarrett, 84, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2006 in Greenfield. She was born October 9, 1921 in Greenville, S.C. to Florence M. Bailey and Gertrude Penland.

She was a graduate of Parker High School in Greenville, S.C. She married Charles F. Jarrett, who preceded her in death.

She was retired from Western Electric. In 1981, she retired from Hancock Regional Hospital, Greenfield. She was a member of Eastern Star Cumberland 515, a former member of Moose Lodge in Greenfield, Pioneers of America of Western Electric and Philadelphia United Methodist Church.

Thelma is survived by a son, Mike Jarrett of Indianapolis; daughter, Helen Gilbert of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Teresa Selbo of Greenfield, Tina Qualkinbush of Lavergne, Tenn., Regina Mattson of Greenfield, Melissa McGlaun of Indianapolis, Jonna Gentry of McCordsville and Candace Harley of New Palestine; 13 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; and half sister, Carol Lee, Ft. Walton, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; brother, William Graddy; and sister, Grace Perry.

Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 28, 2006 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home, Greenfield with Pastor Danny Pawluck and Brother Phil Augilar officiating. Burial will be at Philadelphia Cemetery, Philadelphia, Ind. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at the funeral home.
