MICHAEL F. WEHRLE, 34, of Eureka, died April 9 at Firmin Desloge Hospital, St. Louis. He was the son of Mary Ann Hood and Thomas W. Wehrle; the father of Alicia and Shane Wehrle; the brother of Tommie Lyn Wehrle and Daniel J. Wehrle and the grandson of Carroll amd Mary E. Lively and Dorothea Wehrle.
Service was held at Schraeder Funeral Home, Ballwin, on April 11 with the Rev. Dr. Richard Brandon officiating. Interment was at Oak Hill Cemetery, Kirkwood.
Mike was born a WORTH but his name was legally changed to that of his step-father when he was about 18. He died of a genetic heart defect following a surgery that was one of the first of its kind ever performed.
Mike and I were married February 2, 1969 and had a daughter, Alicia Ann Wehrle, born August 28, 1969.
