Mrs. Ruth Buriff Campbell, 85, of 114 S. Maple St., Eaton, died last Wednesday evening at Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond, Ind. after being admitted shortly after a car-truck accident in Eaton.

She was born in Preble County and was a member of the Sugar Valley United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Louise Calhoun of Findlay and Susan Jeanette Buriff Shafer Lafuze of Richmond, Ind; two sisters, Bernice Houston of Eaton and Myrtie Hart of Lexington, KY.; one brother, Robert Rumley of Virginia Beach, VA.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Her first husband, Stanley A. Buriff, died in 1974, and her second husband, Russell S. Campbell, died in 1981. A son, Carl Buriff, died in August.

Funeral services for Mrs. Campbell were Saturday at the Barnes Funeral Home - Eaton Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Poling officiating. Burial was in Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton.

The family received friends Friday at the funeral home.
