James Deem Bristow, 62, of Kettering, died Thursday. He was the son of Elvin "Bud" and Mable L. Bristow. His father had been mayor of Eaton at one time.
Surviving are his wife, Peg; one son, Deem R. Bristow of Kettering; one daughter, Rosalind Brady; three grandchildren; and one sister, Caroline Kisling of South Pasadena, Calif.
Funeral services were Monday at St. Georges Episcopal Church, Dayton. There was no public calling.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bob Hipple Cancer Research Laboratory.
