Ila H. Sparks, 80, died Thursday in a nursing home here.

She was born at Fort Scott Kan., Aug. 4, 1887, and married Albert Sparks at Missoula, Mont., July 24, 1924. Mr. Sparks died in 1963 and she moved to Azwell to be near her son, George Dempsey.

Surviving are her sons, George Dempsey, Chelan and Walter Dempsey, Canoga Park, Calif.; 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

(She was preceded in death by a son Joe Dempsey.)
