Actor. Born in Hammersmith, London and later residing in Canada, he is best known to many for his role as Lieutenant Philip Gerard in the popular 1960s television series "The Fugitive." Morse attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and later became a fixture in Canadian Theatre, television, radio, and films. After making his big screen debut in the "The Goose Steps Out" (1942), he had notable appearances in "Late at Night" (1946), "No Trace" (1950), "Asylum" (1972), and "The Shape of Things to Come" (1979). In addition to "The Fugitive," Morse accumulated a large body of television credits, including memorable performances in "The United States Steel Hour," "The Twilight Zone," "Naked City," "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour," and had co-starring roles in the series "The Adventurer," "Zoo Gang," and "Space 1999."
