She is survived by one brother, William Powell age eighty-one years, and one sister, Mary McDonald age ninety-three years. Her husband preceded her to the good world by nine years.
She was converted when quite young and united with the Methodist church and has lived a consistent christian life. She was unconscious for several days before her death and the end was peaceful and without a struggle and we have no doubt as to her future. She died as she had lived, a quiet christian.
Her funeral was preached by Rev. A.J. Bennett in the presence of a large crowd of her neighbors and friends. We shall see her again.
