Albert Paul Lasher, 57, 5650 Woodman Ave, Died Friday morning in Brown Memorial Hospital in Conneaut. Mr. Lasher was born in Armstrong County, Pa. Dec 26 1923. He was a resident of Ashtabula for the past 10 years. He was employed by General Electric at the Jefferson-Wells in the parts department. Mr. Lasher married Virginia Camp of New Kingston, (typo should be Kensington) Pa. on April 18 1946. He was a veteran of WWII where he served as a staff sergeant and also served in the Korean War. Mr. Lasher is survived by his wife; three sons, Gary of Vandergrift, Pa. Jeff of Huston, Texas and Howard of Ashtabula; one brother, Jim of Eagleville; three sisters, Mrs. Alberta Woods of Aliquippa, Pa. Mrs. Frank (Sarah) McClelland and Mrs. Orville (Martha) Smith, both of Union City, Pa.; parents, Elsie and Theodore Lasher of Union City, Pa.; and 11 grandchildren. Services will be held 3 p.m., Sunday at the Lehnert Funeral Home 26 E. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with the Rev. Murrel Hounshell, pastor of the Bible Baptist Church officiating. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday and 2 to 3 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, New Kingston, (typo should be Kensington) Pa.
