DEATH CLAIMS F. O. AMERSON

F. O. Amerson, 66, died Tuesday night in an Amarillo hospital following a lingering illness. The Swisher county farmer was born in 1897 in Jack county. He had lived in Swisher county since 1927.

Survivors include his wife, Twila, of the home; four sons, Hollis of California, J. C. and Coy Gene of Arizona, and Don L. Amerson of Tulia; five daughters, Mrs. Verda (sic) Mae Elkins of Tulia, Mrs. Vesta Springer of Arizona, Mrs. Lavenia Williams of Romero, Mrs. Laverne Cagle of Tulia, and Mrs. Erdeane Morgan of Joplin, MO.; and six brothers, Archie of Amarillo, Homer of Tulia, Lee of Muleshoe, and Cecil, Carl and Charlie, all of Wheeler county.

Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the First Methodist Church. Rev. R. H. Campbell, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, will be assisted by Rev. Tommy Ewing of Finney. Burial will be in Rose Hill under direction of Wallace Funeral Home.
