Services for Rosa "Maxine" Combs, 76, Berryton, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Stull United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Tecumseh.
Mrs. Combs died Thursday, Dec. 24, 1998, at Brookside Manor, Overbrook.
She was born Aug. 7, 1922, in Topeka, the daughter of Charles and Rosa May Grindol Worthington.
She graduated from Berryton High School in 1940.
A homemaker, Mrs. Combs was a member of the Stull United Methodist Church.
She married Wayne L. Combs on Aug. 29, 1943, in Lecompton. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Mark W. Combs, Tecumseh; two daughters, Martha Lathrom, Lawrence, and Rosemary Schooler, Hiawatha; two brothers, Eugene Worthington and Ted Worthington, both of Tecumseh; seven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.
A great-grandson preceded her in death.
