Frances Kiselak of Pine Bush and former longtime resident of Sleepy Hollow, died January 17, 2008 at the age of 86.
Frances was born February 17, 1921 in Pernek, Czechoslovakia to Filip and Catherine Mackovic Sedlacek. She came to the United States when she was 16.
She worked for many years at P.R. Mallory in N. Tarrytown and she was a member of the National Sokol Ladies Lodge #42.
She was married to Thomas Kiselak, who predeceased her in 1980. Frances is survived by her sons: Thomas of Pine Bush and John of Bartlesville, OK; and her grandchildren: Mary-Jo Flanick, Frances Reid and Thomas Kiselak Jr., all of Pine Bush, Michael and David of Dallas, TX, Gregory of Vanceburg, KY, John, Jr. of Oklahoma, and Robert of South Carolina. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home, 91 N. Broadway, Tarrytown, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Her Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Church, Sleepy Hollow, with interment to follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
