ANN ROSINI (CLAPP), b.1842, Scituate, MA, d.1920, Scituate, MA, a daughter of miller and merchant Thomas Clapp and Ann Rosina (Cudworth) of Scituate, and granddaughter of Leonard Clapp and Betsy (Stetson) of Greenbush, and wife of her fourth cousin, ELIJAH THOMAS "Lige" CLAPP, of Greenbush, MA, son of Elijah Clapp and Harriet (Ford) of Greenbush, MA. These two Clapp lines managed the businesses in Greenbush across from the Pond for generations.


Ann and Elijah Thomas Clapp had children:


--Elijah Thomas Clapp, Jr., b.10/15/1866

--Helen Augustus (Clapp) Rogers, b.1/19/1868

--William Howard "Pete" Clapp, b.12/14/1869

--Harriet Francis Clapp, b.5/2/1872

--Everett Lincoln Clapp, b.4/15/1876

--Richard Clapp, b.11/20/1879

--Freddie Clapp, b.1883, d.1892


Their son, William "Pete" Clapp, was the last miller of Greenbush, having given the historic grist mill, along with water rights to operate it from the Pond, to the Scituate Historical Society).
