After suffering with la grippe and brain fever for more than a fortnight Captain R. T. Nixon died last Saturday at his ranch 6 miles north of here. The deceased lacked a few days reaching three score years and ten. Captain Nixon leaves a widow and several small children and a circle of friends to mourn his loss. The Rev. Biggs delivered the funeral oration. The masons buried their brother, Cap. R. T. Nixon, in the Mansford graveyard Sunday. Many personal friends were at the burying.
