Perry C. Bradburn, 89, was found dead about noon Friday at his home in the rea of 523 West First, where he had lived for the past few months. Mr. Bradburn, who had been in failing health, was reported to have died of natural causes. Death apparently occurred a short time before the body was discovered. A retired farmer, Mr. Bradburn lived for many years in the Manilla community before moving to Rushville. He also formerly resided in Milroy.
He was born in Tipton on September 18, 1874, the son of Charles and Margaret Bestram Bradburn, and was married February 15, 1911, to Estella May Osterling, who died December 4, 1953.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Nora Partridge of Gary; a stepson, Jack Osterling of Milroy, and a brother, Wille Bradburn of Cortez, Fla. A son, William Bradburn, died February 2, 1961, and six brothers and sisters also preceded him in death.
The Rev. W. B. Jenkins will conduct services at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Carmony Funeral Home in Manilla, where friends may call after 2 p.m. today. With burial in the Manilla Cemetery.
