Jane Locklin
Is Bride of
John Williams

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Locklin announce the marriage of their daughter, Jane, to John W. Williams, son of Mrs. Jessie Williams of Canon City, Colorado, and Mr. John Williams of St. Louis, Mo., on Saturday, November seventh, 8 p. m. First Christian Church, Houston.

The Rev. John Knowles read the double ring ceremony, for which the bride chose, a dusty pink sheer wool suit with matching hat. Her corsage was of white orchids. She carried an ivory covered Bible and pastel blue imported lace handkerchief, handmade in France. For something old she wore a cameo broach, that had belonged to her grandmother Locklin.

After graduating from Jeff High School, Jane attended the Massey Business College, also the Beelow School of Charm. She has since been employed as Legal secretary, having worked with Continental Oil Company for eight years and is now employed in the Legal department at Texas Gulf Sulphur Company. Jane is an honorary member and past president of Sigma Kappa Psi Sorority, and was elected Sweetheart of the Club this year.

John is a 1946 graduate of Florence High School, Colorado. He attended Colorado School of Mines, where he received his degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1950. His fraternity was Sigma Nu. He is now employed in Houston with Trans Tex Transmission Company in the Engineering department.

After an unannounced wedding trip, the couple will be home at 5511 Austin Street, Houston, Texas.
