Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will
be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, January 17, 2008, at Anderson
– Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial
will follow in the Anderson Cemetery in the Flynns Lick
community of Jackson County.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 P.M. –
10 P.M. and Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services.
Mrs. Reed passed away on Monday, January 14, 2008, at
her residence.
She was born August 22, 1957, in Jasper, TN, to Lillie
Carver and Leo Chaffin. On March 16, 1995, she was married
to George Eldridge Reed, who survives. She was a
housewife, a loving mother, and wife. She was of the Baptist
faith.
She was preceded in death by 1 Son: Burch Lain Kirby, Jr.;
and 2 Grandchildren: Justin Reed Whitehead and an infant
grandson.
