Mrs. Artis Adams
Lincolnton, Ga. Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Quarles Adams, 72, who died Sunday afternoon at Willis Memorial Hospital, Washington GA, after an extended illness, will be held at 5 pm today from New Hope Baptist Church.
The Rev.'s Chester Hall and Ted Adkins will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Lincoln County,Mrs. Adams was a daughter of the late Tobe and Mary Quarles. She was a widow of Artis Adams,and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Daniels, of Lincolnton, and Mrs. Beatrice Ethridge, of Abbeville, SC; Four Grandchildren; Three Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Williams,Benjamin Williams,Thomas Hogan, Hirsch Wengrove, Mitchell Flint, and Clifford Martin.
Friends may call at Rees Funeral Home, Lincolnton, until 4:30 pm,then at the church.
