Joy Annette (Lyon) Basye, 49, of Sedgwick, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008.
Mrs. Basye was the former owner and operator of the Bentley Corner Store and Roadkill Cafe.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Basye; three sons, Wade and Dion Curry, both of Sedgwick, and Travis Basye of Newton; two grandsons; a brother, Marvin Lyon of Sterling; a sister, Phyllis Newberry of Garden City; and her stepfather, Fred Norton of Garden City. She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Lyon; her mother, Roberta Norton; and a brother, Robert Lyon.
Funeral was at Maize Congregational Church, 101 W. Center in Maize. Burial was at Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick.
