A native of Mobile, Buskens was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Callaway Buskens of Gulf Shores; two sons, Richard ``Mark'' Buskens and Jody Lanier Buskens; three daughters, Brenda Beth Reynolds, Amanda Joy Buskens and Darla Lynne Buskens; his mother, Mattie Lee Buskens; a brother, Fred Buskens; and four grandchildren.
Services are set for 4 p.m. Sunday at Bayview Funeral Home in Gulf Shores. Interment will be at Wallace Cemetery .
