Mrs. Schaub died at 10:25 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 1982, in Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln. She owned and operated Helen's Place in Easton.
Born Jan. 14, 1928, at Petersburg, she was a daughter of Joseph and Verancia Oller Goben. She married Gerald Schaub at Las Vegas, Nev., Sept. 21, 1976, and he survives at Easton.
Also surviving are her stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Denton of San Jose; five sons, Mark Denton of Pekin, Michael Denton of San Jose, Carl and Charles Denton, and John Benigni, all of Chicago; three daughters, Mrs. Judith Langley of Easton, and Robin and Ann Benigni, both of Chicago, four grand children; one brother, Richard Goben of Lake Delton, Wis.; and three sisters, Mrs. Gay DeMatteis and Mrs. Pat Young, both of Chicago, and Mrs. Shirley Behrends of Mason City.
