She was born January 29, 1948 in Elgin, IL to Lyle & Mary (Leighty) Young. She married Theodore Pfortmiller on September 9, 1989 in Elgin, IL.
Teri was a homemaker, of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed crocheting, crafts and painting.
She is survived by her husband: Theodore Pfortmiller of Xenia; children: Lisa Wallace & husband Johnny of Xenia, Brenda Cordray & husband Bill of Xenia, David Sorensen of Elgin, John W. Sorensen of Xenia; twin sister: Mary Freeman of Elgin; 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother (David Young), a sister (Dana Ostema), one granddaughter (Dana Sorensen).
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday, January 14, 2008 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Xenia.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Sunday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home.
