Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune - 11 May 1948 - Last rite for Mrs. Victoria Alex, 94, who died at her home 228 Second street, Friday afternoon, were held from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. W. A. Phillips of St. Joseph, assisted by the Rev. S. W. Banks, pastor of the Bethel A. M. E. church, conducted the memorial services, which were under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jackson Scholls, Edmond Williams, Walter Baylor, Sil Sawyer, Bert Anderson and Clyde Banks. Interment was made in the family lot in the South Colored Cemetery.
