MRS. CAROLINA BROWN CLAIMED BY DEATH

Mrs. Carolina Brown, pioneer citizen of this county, died at her home near Salem church Sunday evening last at the ripe age of 81. She was a devoted member of the Baptist church. She spent almost half a century in the community where death claimed her and was loved and admired by her neighbors.

The deceased is survived by two sons, P.W. and J.A.; five daughters, Mrs. E.L. Gibson, Brantley; Mesdames W.E. Doagan, G.F. Stone, H.H. Stone and White, Andalusia, and one step son, W.T. Brown, Frost Proof, Fla.

Services were conducted by Rev. R.M. Corbitt, assisted by Dr. J.A. Cook, after which interment was made in Salem cemetery with arrangements by Patrick.
