Isaac was the son of Paulina (Pliny) Anderson . William H. Butler was his stepfather, but Isaac used his name. Don't know who his biological father was. Isaac lived most of his life in Harrodsburg Ky. working in the prizing room of tobacco warehouses, also a laborer and carpenter. He married Tassie Carrier Oct 23, 1902 in Harrodsburg, Ky. They had 4 daughters..Effie, Maude, Elizabeth and Virginia and 3 sons John, Roy and Thomas (see bio for Tassie Carrier Butler). Isaac died after a 2 year illness in A. D. Memorial Hospital.
