FRANK BOCK,SR. FAMILY (wife Annie Siedel)

Frank Bock was the son of Vincent and Mary Lockner-Bock, born in Butler county, southwest of Bellwood, April 17, 1884, and passed away February 15, 1966, at the age of 81 years.

He married Anna Siedel on February 19, 1908, at St. Anthony church in Polk county, Nebraska. She was born March 15, 1886, in Austria, Germany, coming with her folks to America when she was a small child. She passed away October 8, 1979, at the age of 93 years.

Her parents are Frank Siedel,Sr. He was born in Austria, Germany, January 17,1856, and passed away at age 77. Her mother, Caroline Englische, born September 1, 1856 in Austria, Germany, died at age 79. They came with their family to America and homesteaded in the Shelby and Butler County vicinity.

Seven children were born to this union:
Mrs. Frank (Anna) Bock; Mrs. George (Hannah) Supencheck; Mrs. John (Della) Zohner; Mrs John (Minnie) Poeffel; son Frank Siedel, Jr., Herman (who drowned on July 2, 1898), and Lena who passed away April 20, 1910.

After their marriage in 1908, the Frank Bocks farmed in the vicinity of Butler County and Bellwood, Nebraska until they retired and moved to this little town. He then worked in the Scholz hardware store until his health failed and he had to quit.

Nine children were born to this union: Frank, Harold, Leo, Roy, Mrs. paul(Elsie) Kruse; Mrs Harry (Anna) Conrad; Mrs. Fred (Irene) Brase; Mrs. Ben (Velma) Hopkin; Mrs. Walt (Margaret) Pieters; a host of granchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren.

BOCK - Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Bock, 93, of Bellwood are set for 2 p.m. Thursday [sic] at Gass-Haney Chapel with burial in Roselawn Cemetery. The Rev. John Mikkelsen will officiate.
Mrs. Bock died Monday at Columbus Manor.Visitation will be after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

The daughter of Frank and Caroline Siedel, she was born March 15, 1886 in Germany ( Austria Silesia). She attended Butler County School and married Frank Bock on Feb. 19, 1908 at St. Anthony Church in Polk County.

A lifetime resident of Butler County, she is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Paul (Elsie) Kruse, Mrs. Fred (Irene) Brase, Mrs. Ben (Velma) Hopkins, all of Bellwood, Mrs. Harry (Anna) Conrad, Council Bluffs, Iowa, Mrs. Walter (Margaret) Pieters of Schuyler; sons, Frank Jr., of Bellwood, Roy of Columbus; _4 (34?) grandchildren; __ (38?) great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. John (Della) Zohners and Mrs. John (Minnie) Poelfel, Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Harold of Bellwood, Leo of Omaha; two brothers and two sisters.
