FUNERAL SERVICES FOR A. B. DE BORD
Funeral services were held at the Bullock funeral home Wednesday of last week for Albert Burke DeBord, 86, father of Bryon and life-long resident of Peoria county, who passed away Monday, April 12, at the home of his daughter. Mrs. Bess Hale, in Peoria following an illness of five years' duration. Pallbearers were Oscar Graves, Walter Fast, Frank Harrison, H. E. Calhoun, J. E. Callery and Dave Smith. Interment was in the Princeville cemetery.

Mr. DeBord was born May 19, 1856 the son of Reuben and Julia Hall DeBord, at the family home in Princeville. He lived on the farm for 53 year, moving to Princeville where he resided until 1931. He was married to Miss Eleanor Hawver in 1881. She passed away in 1931.

Surviving are the son Bryon W. DeBord, of Princeville; one daughter, Mrs. Hale of Peoria; one sister Miss Harriett DeBord of Peoria; two brother, Fred DeBord of Maitland Mo., and Frank DeBord of Princeville, and six grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Leatha Gingrich, died in 1931.
