Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 2 in Allen and Sutton Funeral Home, Fillmore with Rev. Ernest Flowers officiating. Visitation was one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial was in Glendale Cemetery, Fillmore.
Mrs. Alexander was born October 5, 1909 in Keyesport, the daughter of John H. and Ida (Sanders) Elliott. She was a retired homemaker. She married Earl Alexander February 16, 1928 in Carlyle. He preceded her in death on May 16, 1989.
She is survived by daughter-in-law, Doris Ann Alexander of Coffeen; son, Elmer Alexander and wife Dorris of Fillmore; sister, Maxine DeVan of Silvis; brother-in-law, Charles Carroll of Nokomis; ten grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one daughter, three brothers and two sisters~
