"Mrs. C. C. Lashbrook,
Pioneer Resident Dies
Mrs. C. C. Lashbrook, 69, a resident of this vicinity all of her life, died Wednesday afternoon at a local hospital. She underwent a major operation about 15 days ago.
Mrs. Lashbrook was born in Cowley County. The family home is southeast of the city over the Oklahoma line.
Survivors include the husband, one daughter, Mrs. Goldie Herbert of Newkirk, and two granddaughters.
No funeral arrangements have been announced as yet. The Hill Funeral Home at Newkirk is in charge."
