She was born Oct. 4, 1936, in Berlin Twp., and lived there her whole life. She was a 1954 graduate of Berlin Heights High School and a truck driver for Hot Shot Express in Akron. She was a former member of the Grange, and an avid bingo player.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard; her children, Diane (Ed) Wlodarsky of Berlin Heights, Darrell Frankline of Jarrettsville, Md., Daniel Franklin of Milan, Dean Franklin of Norwalk, Darlene Hershberger, Wooster, Ohio, and Doreen Smith of Lake land Fla.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, William (Betty) Meese of Norwalk; sisters Barbara Kurzen of Willard, Karen (John) Warner of Tulsa, Okla., and Sandra (Brian) Smith of San Bernardino, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Blanche (Scheck) Meese; and a son, Richard.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until time of services at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at the Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South St., Berlin Heights.
