Mrs. H. H. Carr Dead.
Mrs. H.H. Carr died yesterday morning at the residence of her daughter in Newton. Short funeral services will be held at Newton today at 3 o'clock. The remains will then be brought to Wichita and the funeral will be held at her residence, at 934 North Market street. The hour of the funeral services has not yet been determined, awaiting receipt of word from a son, Charles W. Carr, of Boston, Mass. Due announcement will be made.
Mary Elizabeth McQuillan was born in East Machias, Me., March 11, 1841. She was married, October 14, 1865, at East Machias, to Harvey H. Carr.
Mrs. Carr is survived by her husband, Col. H. H. Carr, and five children, A. McQ. Carr and Samuel W. Carr of Wichita; Charles H. Carr of West Somerville, Mass.; Mrs. O. B. Dickhut of Turon, Kan., and Mrs. A.C. Strueby of Newton, Kan.
Mrs. Carr was a prominent member of the Women's Relief Corps, Rebekah lodge No. 70, and F.A.A. Council, 128. 2
