Eleanor Bardin Hobson, 77, died Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at Belhaven Nursing Home in Jackson. Visitation is 5-7p.m today and 10 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008. Funeral services are 11a.m. Saturday at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton followed by burial in Bolton Cemetery.
Eleanor was born on September 7, 1930, in the Brownsville Community of Hinds County, to the late W.K. and Virginia Dawson Bardin. She was married to the late Dr.William Stark Hobson. Eleanor will be remembered as a loving pastor's wife who was devoted in helping him share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her sons, Rodney Hobson (Deborah) of College Station, TX, and Robert (Bob) Hobson (Vicki) of Bolton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church in Iuka.
