COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY – 04/10/2001 - SCOTTSBURG Doris E. Arbuckle, 72, died Sunday at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. She was a native of Louisville and a member of Plymouth Homemakers Club and Scottsburg First Christian Church. Survivors: sons Raymond, Jay and Clay Arbuckle; daughters Rita Dillon, Lana Thompson and Lacinda Richey; brothers James, William and Richard Hall; a sister, Dixie Perkins; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral: 1 p.m. Tuesday, her church. Entombment: New Bethel Cemetery, Lexington. Visitation: the church, after 10 a.m. Tuesday. Arrangements: Stewart. Memorial gifts: American Cancer Society.


Doris was the wife of James Arbuckle.
