DAVIS -- Services for Essie D. Dickerson will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at East Main Church of Christ with Thomas Thompson officiating. Interment will be at 3:30 p.m. at Monroe Cemetery in Monroe.
Mrs. Dickerson died Dec. 1, 1998, in the Ardmore hospital. She was born March 27, 1910, at Wister, to Jeff and Lela A. Bayless Percifield.
She married James G. Dickerson Oct. 4, 1928, and moved to Davis from Howe in 1985. Her husband died July 6, 1984. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Jo Ann Julian, Wynnewood, Nancy Reece, Newalla, and Linda "Kay" Sims, Davis; a son, Gary, Missoula, Mont.; a sister, Effie Henry, Oklahoma City; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Ralph Ramirez, Dave Buckner, Rusty and Chad Sims and Shawn and Brad Kirk.
Fox Funeral Home will direct services.
