Inez Sarver Daniel, age 97, of Plano, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2012. She was born on April 20, 1914, in Garland, to the late James and Rosa Sarver and lived her entire life in the Garland, Plano and Murphy area. Inez was raised a Methodist, but once she married her husband and life-long best friend, Max Daniel, on January 20, 1933, she became a Baptist. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Murphy for 79 years and assisted her husband as Treasurer for many years. Inez and Max were life-long farmers in the Murphy area, and Inez loved working outdoors and doing yard work, maintaining her own property well into her 80's. She was a true farm girl, from peddling eggs to picking cotton to driving a team of mules or a tractor. She worked with Max in the implement business and in running a grain elevator and cotton gin in Murphy. In her later years and after Max's death, Inez volunteered at Medical Center of Plano. One of the hardest workers around, she was truly the sweetest woman a person could know. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother, wife and partner who dedicated her life to serving her family, her church and her friends. In addition to her parents, Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Max Daniel, in 1990; sisters, Bertha Adair, Marguerite Turner and Myrtle Heard; and brother, Cecil Sarver. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law with whom Inez resided the last three years, Kathy and Rick Webster of Parker, TX; granddaughter, Terra Botterman and husband, Bryan, of Dallas; sisters, Jimmye Cyganik and Flo Sarver, both of Garland; brother, Robert Sarver of Garland; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 6-8pm at Ted Dickey Funeral Home, 2128 18th St. Plano, TX 75074. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 2pm at First Baptist Church, 800 North Murphy Rd., Murphy, TX 75094 with Dr. Don Cole and Rev. Ed Spivey co-officiating. Interment will follow at Big Springs Cemetery in Garland. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church of Murphy.
