Eric Paul Hosking
Rock Hill, NY - Eric Paul Hosking, a resident of New York and Tennessee, employed in the fields of automotive and construction, died unexpectedly in Pike County, Pa. on Sunday, December 9, 2007. He was 25.
The son of George M. Johnson Jr. and Bonnie Hosking, he was born March 9, 1982 in Goshen.
Eric was a very caring person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and auto racing.
He is survived by his mother: Bonnie Hosking of Slate Hill; his father: George M. Johnson Jr. & his wife Sandra of Rock Hill; two brothers: Richard Kanoff of Memphis, Tenn. and George R. Johnson of Bloomingburg; three sisters: Crystal Brookins of Memphis, Tenn., Jessica Johnson of Bloomingburg and Danielle Johnson of Manhattan; his paternal grandparents: George & Julia Johnson of Bloomingburg; three nieces; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents: David R. Hosking Jr. and Thelma Hosking.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 12 from 5-8 p.m. at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. His funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 13 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Betty Beach officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Plains Cemetery in Otisville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice.
