"Mrs. Elizabeth Beyersdoerfer, the daughter of William and Barbara Wenser, was born at Cincinnati, May 18, 1845. During her girlhood days she moved to Levanna, where later she was united in marriage to Michael Beyersdoerfer January 16, 1862. Mr. and Mrs. Beyersdoerfer then came to Ripley, where she resided on Main street for 70 years, her husband having passed away sixteen years ago.
She leaves to mourn her passing, one son, Conrad, of Cincinnati, and two daughters, Mrs. Anna M Becker and Flora Beyersdoerfer, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Another daughter, Mrs. Ida Linn, the wife of W.F. Linn, preceded her in death a few years ago.
Mrs. Beyersdoerfer was a member of the Lutheran church during its activity here, a Christian character of kindly disposition, ever thoughtful of others, always ready to be of assistance to those abut her. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who know her.
