Stanford L. Brown, 71, RD 3, Conneautville, died Sunday, July 26, 1981, at Spencer Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born in Summerhill Township Aug. 9, 1909, a son of Maurice J. and Jenny Stanford Brown. He married Ruth Smith June 15, 1935.
He was retired from FMC, where he worked in the spinning department.
He was a member of Norristown United Methodist Church and Eureka Grange.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Janet) Bigley of Conneautville; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ella Mae; a son, Donald Lee; and two brothers , Stanley and Percy.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Charles W. White Funeral Home, Conneautville, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Daniel Richter, Hickernell United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be at Dennys Cemetery.
