He was married 54 years to Donna Reed (Hess) and they had two daughters: Kim Hill (Reed)and husband Rick of Union, Kentucky. Lori Conrow (Reed) and husband Steve of Haysville, Kansas. Also surviving are Grandchildren Tyler, Ashley, Jeremy and Justin: and 2 great-grandchildren. Brother Robert G. Reed and wife Rosemary, Sisters: Marilee and Husband Don Walters; sister Nancy Lee all of Wichita, Kans. Sister Carol Hinds and husband Bob of Tahlequah, Ok.
Preceeding him in death were his parents, and four brothers Gary E. Reed; Loren D. Reed, Don V. and Jerry Combs.
Dale retired from Jones Trucking Line after 37 years, and he was a Race car Driver for 30 years. He had a long happy marriage to Donna, and they enjoyed life to the fullest.
Visitation with family will be 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, Nov. 15, and memorial service is at Resthaven Mortuary on Thursday Nov. 16. Interment at Resthaven. In lieu of flowers, family request memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
