Alice was born in Russia. She is the daughter of Nikitin Corboff. Alice immigrated in 1907 with her husband. She married William Samuel Loskutoff (1888-1959) in 1906 in Russia. They had seven known children: Augusta, Samuel, Nick, Alice, Mary, William, and Peter. Sometime during the 1920's the family moved back to Russia. I do not have information for this particular family. As some of my Seminoff relatives 'moved', I can say that the family was probably longing for their homeland or they were disenchanged with life in America. They found out that life wasn't any better and wanted to come back to the United States. Because they had children born in America, they were able to move back. There were some families who were unable to move.

The only child born in Russia was William. He was born in 1926 in Russia, while they lived in Russia.

In 1920 the family lived on Potrero Hill in San Francisco, CA. Her husband was a riveter for the ship yards. When they came back between 1926 and 1930, they lived on Potrero Hill in San Francisco. Her husband worked in the lumber yard. They rented their home for $12/month.
