HANOVER Jule Taylor (Wright) Bureau entered into eternal life on Thursday, December 27, 2007. She was the wife of William Hobbs Bureau, her husband of 46 years, who died January 21, 1991. Born October 24, 1922, in Aberdeen, Md., she was the daughter of the late George Edward and Grace Evans (Holland) Wright, II. A graduate of Towson State Teachers College, Jule had a great passion for children and learning. She was an elementary school teacher, Sunday school teacher, and a parentteacher organization President. She was a U.S.O. Volunteer at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds where she met her beloved husband. She also loved poetry, opera, classical music, antiques, birding, and nature. Jule shared her enthusiasm and love of learning as a volunteer for the Gettysburg Community Concert Association and the Daughters of the American Revolution, a mentor for voice students and a teacher of all who wanted to learn from her knowledge and experience. A skilled editor and writer, Jule worked with her husband to edit and illustrate monthly graphic arts journal articles, as well as several textbooks on paper and printing. She touched and brightened many lives with her creative artwork, crafts, homemade goodies, keen wit, and sense of humor. Jule will be sadly missed by her children, daughter, Judith A. B.
