79, of Elbridge, died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Weedsport, he was the son of Abram and Katherine Morrill LaDue. Dean was a 1946 graduate of Weedsport High School. He earned a bachelor's degree from Oswego State and a master's degree from Brockport State. Dean also did graduate work at the University of Rochester. He was a teacher at Port Byron and Skaneateles and later at Auburn High School, where he retired in 1983. Dean was an Army veteran of WW II. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret Walhizer LaDue; two brothers, Richard and Kevin; a sister, Dale Robertson; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Bush Funeral Home, Elbridge
