Al was born June 24, 1918 to George and Jemima Parker of Wardboro, ID he lived an exemplary life. He served in the Navy during World II.
Al married three times first to Priscilla Turton, who passed away in 1960, he then married Lola Winters who passed away in 1975. Then he married Phyllis Peterson who passed away in 1999.
Alfred worked at Hill Air Force Base and retired in 1970 he then drove school bus for 14 years. He loved to work on his little farm in Willard growing a garden was something he loved to do as well as square dancing, traveling and giving hugs.
He will be missed by many including his children: Romona (Larry) Loveland, Brigham City; Dorothy and George Parker, Willard; Meri Ann Simmons, Brigham; Dorothy Jean (Dave) Edmonds, West Jordan; Alana (John) Mitchell, Willard; Doug Motenson, Ogden; Jana (Shawn) Jenson, Snowville; Kevin (Laurie) Mortenson, West Valley City; and the Late Alice (Dee) Brown, Garland. He has 22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his three wives, two brothers, and one step-daughter.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Willard 1st Ward Chapel, 80 N. 100 W., Willard.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 s. 100 E., Brigham City and on Thursday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church.
Interment will be in the Memorial Gardens of Wasatch Cemetery.
