COLUMBUS — ROBERT BOSWELL, 72, OF COLUMBUS, DIED WEDNESDAY, DEC. 26, 2007, AT HIS HOME IN COLUMBUS.
COLUMBUS — Robert Boswell, 72, of Columbus, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, at his home in Columbus.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday at McKown Funeral Home with the Rev. Wendell Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Columbus Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. today and 9-10 a.m. Monday at McKown Funeral Home.
Mr. Boswell was born Dec. 5, 1935, in Columbus to John and Ethel (Warnick) Boswell. He grew up in Columbus and lived his entire life in the area. He married Bonnie Allison on Oct. 7, 1957, in Schuyler. He previously worked at Nebraska Vault, Behlen Manufacturing and Lindsay Manufacturing. He enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar and singing.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Boswell of Columbus; daughter, Amy (Alan) Clark of Columbus; sons, Tim (Brenda) Boswell, and Mike Boswell, all of Columbus; brothers, Leonard (Donna) Boswell of Kansas, and John Boswell of Columbus; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ethel Boswell; two sisters; and three brothers.
Brothers: Carroll, John Jr. and Leonard L. (Donna)
Sister: Lucille (Edward) Kubicek
Infant brothers Melvin & Julian and sister Thelma died during infancy.
