Karette Maxine Francis Dorlean, age 33, of 74 North Fourth Street, Chambersburg, died at 4:12 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2006, in the emergency room of Chambersburg Hospital.
Born September 5, 1972, in Kingston, Jamaica, she was a daughter of Constantine Francis of New York, Pauline Edwars Victorine of chambersburg, and the stepdaughter of Paul P. Victorine of Chambersburg.
Karette was a 1990 graduate of Mid Florida Tech in Orlando, Fla., and had worked as a day care provider.
In addition to her parents and stepfather, she is survived by her husband, Kernis Dorlean; four children, Tatjana Scott, Karessa Charles, Devonte Charles and John Silvain, all at home; eight siblings, Gary and wife Lynette Francis of Chambersburg, Wayne Francis and Laverne Francis, both of Kingston, jamaica; a stepbrother, Byron Staple of chambersburg; and maternal grandfather, Manscient Edwards of Orlando.
