Eliza Jane West married Alvin Rich in 1891. Their first four children were born in Utah. (Inez 1892, Joyce 1894, Alvin 1896 and Theta 1898. They moved to Canada in 1900 joining her parents in Mountain View. In 1904 they moved to Magrath. Two more children were born in Canada, Loraine in 1907 and Rulon in 1909.
Eliza was a scholar, teacher and also trained as a dressmaker and home nurse. She was very active in the LDS Church and sewed for the Red Cross in both World wars.

Theta married Lloyd Sabey
Rulon married Ruby Laughlin
