Ray was a very good son, brother, uncle and friend.
He was a sick child with asthma. The doctors told his mom, he needed a drier climate. She packed his younger sister up and they went to Florida. They stayed a while and she did not see any improvements. They moved back home to be closer to the family.
When Ray was 14 years old. He needed an ear operation. They sent him home and told his mom not to let him get his ears wet.
His mother went to bed and he stayed up watching horror movies on TV. It was Halloween night. After he finished watching TV, he took a shower. He developed a staph infection from getting water in his ear. It went to his heart and he had a bad heart valve, no one was aware of. His heart gave out from the infection. Ray was only 14 years old.
