WILSON -- Services for Bessie Fay Brinlee, 81, will be 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Darel Bunch officiating. Interment will be in Temple Cemetery, Temple.

Mrs. Brinlee died May 30, 1997, in the Ardmore hospital. She was born Jan. 11, 1916, in Sagerton, Texas, to William A. and Martha "Mattie" Plowman Gober. She was reared in the Corum area, and married Lester Randell Brinlee Sept. 9, 1940, at Walters. They moved from Fort Worth, Texas, to Temple in 1946, and came to Wilson in 1977. Her husband preceded her in death Jan. 22, 1986. She was also preceded in death by a grandson. Mrs. Brinlee was a member of First Baptist Church and the Southern Oklahoma Nutrition Center.

Survivors include four daughters, Edna Rae Spencer, Ormond Beach, Fla., Linda Montgomery, Oklahoma City; Joyce Brinlee, Del City; Patsy Anderson, Little Rock, Ark.; four sons, Wayne, San Diego, Randall, Wilson, Gene, Moore, and Jerry, Oklahoma City; a sister, Nettie Atkinson, Duncan; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Bearers will be grandsons Steven and Scott Haggy, David, Carl and John Brinlee, and Paul and Chuck Nelson.
