HEALDTON -- Services for Bill Andrews, 48, will be 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron McCaslin, the Rev. Philip Fox and the Rev. Larry Craig officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery.

Born Dec. 18, 1948, at Vinita to Homer and Nancy Johnston Andrews, he died May 1, 1997, from injuries he received in an automobile accident near Purcell that also killed his wife, Cindy, and a son, Josh.

He moved to Healdton in 1976 as the manager of Pizza Hut. He married Cindy Holder on Jan. 7, 1977, at Healdton. Andrews went to work for Winn-Dixie in Arlington, Texas, and worked in Oklahoma City before moving back to Healdton in 1982 to operate Walt's Kwik Check. He later worked for BJ's and Vacco before attending nursing school at Murray State College where he was to graduate later this month.

Survivors include his daughter, Kristen Andrews, of the home; two sons, Adam Sooter, Tahlequah, and Eric Sooter, Vinita; his mother, Nancy Stanley, Vinita; a brother, Dick Andrews, Hot Springs, Ark.; and two grandsons.

Bearers are Kent Chappell, Mike Davis, Donny Hacker, Les Hacker, Rick Hutchinson and Jug Pickelsimer.

Services are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home.
