MITCHELL — Vickie L. Keller, 53, Mitchell, passed away at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday at Clarian North Medical Center in Carmel.
Born Nov. 9, 1954, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Harley and Nola Mae (Cody) Sutherlin. She married Jim "Batman" Keller on May 27, 1983.
She had been employed in the dietary department at Hospitality House in Bedford and Home Health and Hospice at Bloomington Hospital. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Jim "Batman" Keller, Mitchell; daughters, Anita Keller and husband Joe Dennison, Leitchfield, Ky., and Jessica Watterson, Bedford; a sister, Donna Irwin and husband Michael, Mitchell; a brother, Michael Smith, Bedford; aunts, Versie Cody, Orleans and Lois Cooper, Indianapolis; uncle, Olin Cody and wife Princess, Logansport; cousin, Leon Cody, Orleans; nephew Dale Coulter, Kansas and five grandchildren.
Her mother and stepfather, Nola Mae and Clinton Frazier; a sister, Anita Coulter; and brother, Carl Smith, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Memorial Chapel of the Chastain Funeral Home in Mitchell with Pastor Steve Epley officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
